The final event in the 2013 NZ Extreme Race series was wrapped up on the 1st of March, at the Bullerfest Boater X in Murchison. The series was wide open at this point with several paddlers each with a chance of grabbing the National title.

Congratulations to Kenny Mutton (Rotorua), Louise Urwin (Rotorua), and Sean Curtis (Te Awamutu) for taking out the National competition in their respective divisions.

A huge thanks to all event organisers for your co-operation and hard work in providing awesome professional events this year, we look forward to working with you again next year.  Thanks also to Bliss-stick Kayaks for your continual support and sponsorship of the series.

2014 promises to be bigger and better, an here’s hoping we can get more Northies south and more Southies north.
